Respironics launches ComfortGel Full mask

clip_image002Respironics announced the addition of its first full-face gel mask, the ComfortGel Full, which is part of the company’s Comfort Series line of masks.

With an all-new design and popular components, the ComfortGel Full mask brings the natural comfort and seal benefits of Respironics’ gel technology to full-face mask wearers, while offering the convenience and practicality of a replaceable cushion design to providers.

“We are pleased to demonstrate the Respironics commitment to product innovation with the launch of the ComfortGel Full mask,” said Stan Jankowski, U.S. marketing manager, patient interface.

“We pioneered the use of gel technology in nasal masks. Now we are continuing that tradition with a full-face gel mask that offers a level of comfort and stability that no other full-face mask can approach.”

For easier adjustment, Respironics has enhanced the forehead cushion and the StabilitySelector – both of which combine with the blue gel replaceable cushion to create maximum comfort and stability.

The unique sure seal technology (SST) flap provides a membrane-thin layer over the gel cushion to follow the contours of the face, allowing wearers to achieve the comfortable seal that they need. For nighttime mobility, the swivel quick release tabs easily disconnect the hose from the mask, while the ball-and-socket Quick Clips allow for free movement and easy mask removal.

The removable gel cushion, superior seal and easy-to-clean design also make the ComfortGel Full mask ideal for a sleep lab setting. A benefit to home care providers, the DuoPack replacement kit offers two same-size cushions, allowing for easier stocking and supply replacement.
