  •      Answers to all questions asked about our xPAP Relief Program, which was created to provide free xPAP equipment to American citizens who have been diagnosed within the past three (3) years sleep apnea. The gold standard for treatment is the use of xPAP devices, such as a continuous positive airway pressure device or a bi-level positive airway pressure device (bi-level PAP or BiPAP). The term xPAP is used to talk about the devices in a generic manner. An xPAP devices a specific flow of air from the device, through a section of tubing, and into a mask which covers the nose or a mask covering the nose and mouth which then keeps the airway open by preventing tissue in the throat and airway from collapsing, causing the apneas.
To apply for the program, individuals cannot have health insurance; have inadequate health insurance, meaning the insurance plan does not cover xPAP equipment; and those individuals who do not have health insurance nor do they have the financial means to obtain xPAP equipment on their own.
